Huge apricot blooms that age to an acceptable buff when fully open. Somewhat shorter than average plants - almost as wide as high, covered with mahogany tinted foliage. A great show rose in cool climates and the heavy substance of the petals allows it to open full, showing fluffy yellow stamens and holding for days. Exquisitely fragrant but tender in harsh winters. Don't ask why ARS classifies it as an orange blend. Voted world's favorite rose in 1994. Flower Size: 5-7". Fragrance: Strong. Hybridizer: Cants, 1972.
