24823 - Cape Diamond Shrub Climber Rose
Rosa
DARpellerin

(Plant Patent #20814, Var: DARpellerin) One of the most disease resistant varieties in the world...and that's no idle boast! Black spot, powdery mildew, rust and downy mildew, all unheard of for this rose. Abundant clusters of pure pink, double flowers have old-fashioned, spicy fragrance similar to Rosa spinosissima, the color contrasting nicely against semi-glossy, rugosa-like, gray-green foliage. Grow this vigorous plant as a large, spreading shrub or train it as a climber. Bred in Canada, it has proven to be well-adapted to harsh winters, surviving without winter protection in Zone 3. Grown own root. Flower Size: 3-4". Fragrance: Very spicy. Hybridizer: Bedard, 2009.
