As a garden subject it has no peer, because it's constantly in bloom all season long. The large foliage is polished deep green and goes right up to the neck of the bloom. Under ordinary circumstances, it's one of the cleanest, hardiest, brightest pinks around. Cursed with a myriad of tiny, sharp thorns, which is undoubtedly its only means of protecting its fragrant blooms. Hybridizer: McGredy, 1973

Stunning Rose!
May 14, 2026  |  By LINDI REAGAN
I have been growing roses for years (100+ plants in one garden) and feel compelled to write a review of this beauty! Not only a really stunning color (it really does look like the web photo!), with large ,clean leaves and so far very vigorous and disease free -- first blooms were almost 5" across after an iffy hot/cold/hot Spring here in Northern CA, where other roses suffered. Knockout rose -- thank you Edmunds!
