We inspect and grade every rose that enters our facility, and some don't quite meet our high standards for a #1 grade rose, having at least 3 strong canes. This rose is a #1.5 grade and will have at least 2 strong canes. Though we are certain it will establish and perform well, we are offering it at a discounted price.

A brilliant, deep, clear pink - so bright you'd think it would glow in the dark. As a garden subject it has no peer, because it's constantly in bloom all season long. In fact, few bother to disbud it because it would limit bloom production. The large foliage is polished deep green and goes right up to the neck of the bloom. Under ordinary circumstances it's one of the cleanest, hardiest, and brightest pinks around. Cursed with a myriad of tiny, sharp thorns, which is undoubtedly its only means of protecting its super fragrant blooms. Hybridizer: McGredy, 1973
