(Var: AROqueli) In the spring, this variety is regularly seen on the show bench because most of the first crop of blooms comes singly. Larger than most Grandifloras, it is the most dependable of anything in the yellow shades. Deep gold brushed orange when it first opens, it lightens as the blossom matures. The foliage is large, deep green and heavily toothed as well as clean and disease-resistant. A very vigorous grower. Hybridizer: Christensen, 1983

Gold Medal YES
Oct 15, 2023  |  By Donnie Hutchens
Bought 2 of these roses along with a few others early spring 2022. Both are in different areas of the garden, and both have blooms almost always from late April into early November. No Black spot or any other problems in our hot and humid summers. Both roses survived extreme two artic blasts cold temperatures last winter one was much more exposed and had a bit more winter damage but has come back almost as full as the sheltered one.
