This rose has been around for almost half a century and is the original member of the grandiflora class. In cool climates, a shell pink picking up salmon shades where the nights are warm. The plants are quite tall producing huge candelabras in the fall and are covered with lustrous, cast iron foliage. Often employed as a shrub because of its size and capacity to bear blooms, as well as being almost impervious to disease and so hardy it will survive almost anywhere. Flower Size: 4-5". Fragrance: Moderate. Hybridizer: Lammerts, 1955.
