This rose has been around for over half a century. It is the first rose classified as a grandiflora. In cool climates, blooms are a shell pink- picking up salmon shades where the nights are warm. Nearly thornless plants grow quite tall by fall, producing huge candelabras. With its lustrous cast iron foliage, it is often employed as a shrub because it's almost impervious to disease. Hybridizer: Lammerts, 1955
