The dark velvety red, richly fragrant flowers of Don Juan have long seduced gardeners and rosarians. It's quite disease tolerant with dark green, glossy foliage and long, sturdy canes. Though it sometimes gets a bit of black spot, the number and beauty of the blooms makes up for any spraying you might have to do. Blooms on old and new wood.
