We inspect and grade every rose that enters our facility, and some don't quite meet our high standards for a #1 grade rose, having at least 3 strong canes. This rose is a #1.5 grade and will have at least 2 strong canes. Though we are certain it will establish and perform well, we are offering it at a discounted price.
(Var: KORlingo) This superbly formed, pure scarlet rose has such heavy substance that it seems to take forever to fully open. Just barely large enough to qualify as an exhibition variety, it makes up for it in productivity. Dark green foliage is so resistant to disease you almost know before you sniff that it isn't going to be very fragrant. The upright plants are thankfully quite hardy. Hybridizer: Kordes®, 1985
